Alison Baker

Experience/Specialties:  Alison Baker holds a Master of Music degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, both in flute performance.  Her teachers include Eva Amsler (Florida State University), Stephanie Jutt (University of Wisconsin - Madison), Thomas Robertello (Indiana University), Rebecca Gilbert (Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra), and Sophia Gibbs-Kim and Mary Krusenstjerna (Eastman School of Music - Preparatory).  

In addition to music, Ms. Baker has a love of visual arts, is an amateur potter, and can be found hiking, or swimming in one of Austin Texas’s many swimming holes in her free time.

Experience: Round Rock ISD elementary music teacher for four years. Jessica has performed around the world, including extended summers in Italy and a year at the Conservatory of Music in Milan. In addition to teaching flute for over 15 years to all ages, Jessica has extensive training in elementary music and the Kodaly method. She loves performing Bach and Beethoven as well as all music Brazilian.

Jennifer Cephus

Experience: Enthusiastic Flute and Piano Instructor with an aptitude for musical theory and over 10 years in teaching students, both children and adults, from beginning to advanced levels. Highly competent in teaching a strong foundation in proper technique and tuning, as well as music in classical and jazz/improv styles. Experience: Megan Meisenbach's flute studio is centrally located in Austin, Texas. She is an enthusiastic and experienced teacher. Texas Commission on the Arts supported her concerts in 43 Texas cities. She toured with Mid-America Arts Alliance, won a National Commission on the Arts Solo Recitalist Award, and world premiered 6 compositions.
