About the Event
Calling all members of the Flute Community! The Austin Flute Choir invites you to participate in a competition to be a featured soloist with the Austin Flute Choir this season! All adult flutists, aged 18 and up are welcomed to apply! To apply, become a member of AFS and submit an application + application fee ($15) to the AFS website by February 15, 2026.
Applicants will perform Mouquet's Pan et les Bergers (unaccompanied) on Sunday, February 22 at St. Johns UMC. The selected winner will perform with the Austin Flute Choir on April 11, 2026 (Austin Flute Festival), with the possibility of additional performances at the discretion of the Flute Choir Director and according to availability of the winner.
