Audition to be a soloist with the Austin Flute Choir!

About the Event
Members of the flute community are invited to participate in a competition to be a featured soloist with the Austin Flute Choir. No age limit for this competition; AFC members are eligible to apply.
To apply, become a member of AFS and submit an application + application fee ($15) to the AFS website by February 3, 2023. Required solo is:
- Carmen Fantasy on Themes by Bizet’s Carmen
Applicants will perform Carmen Fantasy (unaccompanied) on Sunday, February 12 at 4 pm at St. Johns UMC. A panel of three judges will choose a winner to perform with the Austin Flute Choir on March 5, 2023 (Member’s recital) and March 25, 2023 (Austin Flute Festival).
Your application is not complete until your 2022-23 membership is active and you have paid the application fee.
