Livestream link (Youtube) https://www.youtube.com/live/twi_zDzjT9E -- this will also be viewable after the recital.
Here is my own description:
This is an all-women composers recital featuring beautiful, late Romantic music by composers who deserve greater recognition. They were all internationally-based, multi-lingual, well-read, highly gifted composers, hence the "cosmopolitan" title. This is in collaboration with piano faculty at Southwestern, Dr. Jeanne Hourez. We will also perform and debut three of my own arrangements for piccolo and piano from my upcoming publication: "The Lyrical Piccolo," which is anticipated to be available in 2026, published by the Theodore Presser Company.
Works include Mel Bonis' Flute Sonata, Lili Boulanger's Trois Morceaux (my arrangement, originally written for solo piano); Pauline Viardot's Havanaise (my arrangement, originally for voice and piano); Teresa Carreño's Le Printemps (my arrangement, originally for solo piano), and a solo piano set by Agathe Backer Grøndahl entitled "I Blaafjellet" (In the Blue Mountains).
